Cult. Thin-walled maahul bamboo damuluwan is cut into one section baney. It is then filled with the food and the top is blocked with leaves. It is placed into the blazing fire but turned so that it does not burn through in any one place. When almost burnt through, it is removed from the fire with tongs and the contents are ready to eat. Dragonflies are usually cooked this way.
