a wailing chant sung by women in chorus. It is characterized by a rising crescendo and a falling diminuendo, and it forms the identifying song of the (WBM) keligaan ceremony. (A sacrificial ceremony in which one or another of the spirit deities is honored)
Cult. This word is usually used by Matigsalug singers as an expression to express agonies, love, or whatever depending to the content of their songs addressed to an elder women. And they used amenggey for men.
