a bamboo pole with a bowl tied to one end used to offer betel nut
Cult. About six feet long. The bowl may be tied on with rattan. A small amount of betel nut is placed in the bowl as an offering. On the day when the owner will start to harvest his rice, the pole is planted in the ground at the place where they will begin.
