Cult. The bark (luwit) is used for clothing. A Y section of the tree is cut out and beaten all around with a stick to loosen the bark. Then the timber is carefully pulled out of the bark. This leaves a pair of fully-formed bark trousers complete with two legs and a section for the trunk.
